How To Fix Msvcr80.dll with iTunes

"Cannot start iTunes. A required component is missing: msvcr80.dll. Please install iTunes again."

I searched high and low on fixing this issue. I even tried to download Msvcr80.dll and upload it to the iTunes directory. My friend and I had the same issue. ISSUE SOLVED. Let me know if this helps.

*Note, I'm running Windows 7 32 bit operating system

  1. Uninstall all Apple products
    • iTunes, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour, Apple Application Support, iCloud, and MobileMe. Omit any application you do not have.
  2. Restart your computer. I restart mine after every uninstall. I guess that's the tech in me.
