I have been trying out Microsoft's Security Essentials and I must admit its pretty darn good.  Microsoft Security Essentials provides real-time protection for your home PC that guards against viruses, spyware, and other malicious software. From my testing unlike other antivirus products, the real-time spyware detection really works.
